The steps below will help if you have left your organization but still would like to use Expensify with a personal email address that had been previously added as a secondary login to your work/organization account.
It's possible that you may still be able to log into your past account with no issues, but if your previous organization's Expensify account is using a feature called Domain Control, then you may find you can no longer log in, even though your personal email was linked to it.
- Go to expensify.com and enter your personal email address
- When prompted for your password, click "Forgot password" (yes, even if you actually remember it!)
3. You'll see this screen next. Click "Unlink Accounts"
4. You will then receive an email confirmation at that email address. Click the link in that email, which will allow you to reset your password in Expensify and you'll no longer be associated with your previous organization's domain.
All historical data should be retained in the account, and you should be all set!
